India vs Windies 2018: Cricket Fraternity Cherishes as Prithvi Shaw Scores Hundred on Debut

Prithvi Shaw had a dream debut as the 18-year old batsman scored his hundred in his maiden appearance for India. Shaw became the 293rd Test player of India and batted in the topmost gear. The prodigy batsman scored his runs freely as he brought his fifty in just 56 balls and became the youngest debutant for India to score a fifty. Shaw took on the attack on the Windies bowlers as he batted at the top of his game.

In fact, Shaw impressed with his temperament in his maiden innings in the Indian whites. He showed no signs of nervousness in his first innings and showed that he belongs to the top level. Shaw put on an exhibition of fine strokes as scored his runs in a grand style. The young batsman showed a great flow of the bat and drove ferociously.

It was a fine performance from the young batsman as he impressed with his technique. In fact, Shaw has been making all the right noises regarding his selection. After his debut innings, he has once again shown that he why is the future of Indian cricket.

Shaw kept his head still and played the ball right under his eyes. Meanwhile, the young batsman was well supported by experienced Cheteshwar Pujara, who is playing at his home ground at Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot.

Shaw looked to attack at almost all the balls as he showed no signs of any kind of pressure. The right-hander expressed himself and backed his natural game to deliver a fine performance with the bat. Thus, Shaw was able to tick the right boxes in his first International innings while playing for the senior Indian team.

Shaw became the 15th Indian batsman to score a hundred on his Test debut and also became the seventh youngest Test centurion. In fact, the young batsman will like to convert his hundred into a big score.
