India vs Windies 2018: Sachin Tendulkar Congratulates Roston Chase and Umesh Yadav For Their Spectacular Show

Team India legend Sachin Tendulkar showered heaps of praise on Umesh Yadav and Roston Chase for their standout effort on day two of the second Test between India and Windies at Hyderabad.

Meanwhile, India dominated the proceedings on the morning session of day two. Umesh Yadav stole the show sweeping the Windies tail within 311 runs. However, Chase, who was unbeaten on 98 runs completed his century with a single on the leg side. Chase has been the only shining star in otherwise a disappointing effort from the Windies side.

Soon after reaching his hundred, Chase departed as Umesh bagged a five-wicket haul. The ball found the gap between the bat and the pad thus giving Umesh his second fifer in Test cricket. With 311 for 9, Windies failed to add more runs to it as Yadav bagged his sixth wicket to finish off the innings.

However, India got off to a flier courtesy the 18-year-old Prithvi Shaw. He smashed a flurry on boundaries as India reached the 50-run mark convincingly. He also brought his fifty soon, however, three quick wickets reduced India 102 for 3.

The master blaster took to the Twitter to heap shower of praise on Umesh and Chase. While Umesh returned with six wickets hauls, Chase was the only shining star for Windies. He brought his fourth century guiding his side to the 300-run mark.

Talking about Chase, Tendulkar said that Chase has the potential to bat at no 5 as he has been the only scorer for Windies. Furthermore, he also lauded Umesh for being a true workhorse for team India.
