Former India opener Gautam Gambhir has come up with yet another big statement in the wake of the Pulwama terrorist attack. The World Cup-winning, who is known for his bold nature, has never shied away from showing his support for the Indian security forces and has expectedly not remained silent since the dastardly attack took place.

On Thursday, a suicide bomber from the Pakistan-based terror group Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) rammed an explosives-laden vehicle into a CRPF bus in Pulwama district, killing at least 40 personnel and leaving many critically wounded.

The bus was on the Srinagar-Jammu highway in Lethpora town, about 30 km from Srinagar when the attack took place. The entire nation is in a state of shock as well as furious following the gruesome attack. The whole of India is condemning the attack and paying tribute to the fallen brave souls. The cricketing fratnerity has also come forward to pay tribute to the martyrs. The likes of Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, Gautam Gambhir and others have expressed their grief over the inhumane incident.

Gambhir, nonetheless, went ahead and said that India should not resort to peace talks with Pakistan anymore.

“Yes, let’s talk with the separatists. Yes, let’s talk with Pakistan. But this time conversation can’t be on the table, it has to be in a battle ground. Enough is enough. 18 CRPF personnel killed in IED blast on Srinagar-Jammu highway ,” Gautam Gambhir had written in his first tweet while reacting to the news.

On Sunday, the star batsman came up with another statement, saying that Indian Army has not started the war but they would ‘bloody well finish it’.

“Indian Army ने यह जंग भी शुरू नहीं करी but they will bloody well finish it and I am with them emotion-to-emotion, shoulder-to-shoulder,” wrote Gautam Gambhir.
