Tainted India pacer S Sreesanth is all set to appear in television reality show Big Boss.

The fans are all set to see S Sreesanth on their television sets once again. However, this time around the former India pacer would not be taking to the cricket field. Instead, he would be donning a different hat. The right-arm pacer will reportedly appear in the twelfth season of reality show Big Boss.

S Sreesanth has not played since being banned by the BCCI for his involvement in spot-fixing.

He along with Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan received life ban by the BCCI’s disciplinary committee in September 2013. However, he was cleared of all charges by a Delhi trial court in 2015 due to insufficient evidence under the MCOCA act; a special law passed by the Maharashtra state government to tackle organised crime syndicates and terrorism.

But the BCCI has remained firm with its decision since it was independent to any criminal proceeding and was based on its independent disciplinary action. As a result, Sreesanth never managed to return to the field for India or any team related to the Indian cricket board. In fact, he even failed to obtain a No-Objection Certificate (NOC) from the BCCI to play outside India.

Last year, S Sreesanth had received an offer from a Scottish club. However, the BCCI did not give him the NOC. Time and again, Sreesanth has expressed his resentment over the treatment he gets from the BCCI. But it has made little difference so.

And it looks like Sreesanth has finally moved on. With no hopes of returning to the cricket field, he has been trying his hand at different fields. He did a Malayali film and also did a cameo in Bollywood film Aksar 2.

S Sreesanth played 27 Tests, 53 ODIs and 10 T20Is, picking up 169 international wickets overall. He was also a part of the teams that won the 2007 World T20 and 2011 World Cup.
