Rajasthan Royals (RR) will be desperate to secure two points against the rejuvenated Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) to push their case for the playoffs berth when both teams square off against each other at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium on May 19 (Saturday).

Meanwhile, it is a do-or-die clash for both the teams as a loss will oust them from the race of playoffs of this ongoing Indian Premier League’s (IPL) edition.

The last time these two sides met, Rajasthan Royals scored 217 for four batting first and then restricted RCB to 198 for six to win the match by 19 runs.

Bangalore, however, boasts about a formidable batting-order with the likes of AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli. They will also be high on confidence after their back-to-back victories. The bowling unit will keep them worried although they have done well in the recent times.

On the other hand, Rajasthan will start a little low after losing their in-form batsman Jos Buttler. Buttler along with Ben Stokes has flown back to their country to resume their national duties.

The camp will have to revamp their playing XI and want their players to contribute.

Australia’s D’Arcy Short and South Africa’s wicketkeeper-batsman Heinrich Klaasen is likely to take the place of Jos Buttler and his teammate Ben Stokes. Both returned home following the national commitments.

Ajinkya Rahane will also want his Indian seamers to pull things back and prove their mettle in the must-win clash.

Weather Forecast:

It will be extremely hot in Jaipur with temperatures ranging over 40-degree Celsius. However, the real feel will be much more than that and it will be really tough for the payers with a 4:00 PM start.

However, there are no chances of rain which will be a good news for both the teams. Both the teams will full forty overs of action as they will desperate to claim two points – to push their case for the playoffs.

Meanwhile, there will be no dew in action and the team batting second will have no added advantage in this regard.
