Preview:
So, the eleventh season of the Indian Premier League is coming to an end with this game. It is safe to say that the cricketing fraternity could not have asked for better finalists than Chennai Super Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad. Both the teams were the most consistent teams in the competition and are fittingly contesting for the title. They faltered towards the end of the league phase but came out on top whenever needed.
Coming to the game, the Super Kings will enter the final with the confidence sky high. And why not after all they seem to have found a way of beating Sunrisers each and every time. A team which beat every other team is the league, could not just find its way past the Super Kings in as many as three occasions. But at the same time, the Sunrisers’ performance in the second Qualifier would be a timely reminder for Super Kings to guard against any sort of complacency.
The MS Dhoni-led side is not new to finals, having played the title-decider on six previous occasions. However, their track record is poor to say the least. In six finals, they lost 4 and would be desperate to improve the track record. On the other hand, the Sunrisers would be looking to smart from their three losses already against the Super Kings in the competition. They have it in them to get the better of the Super Kings and another good night can surely see them lift the title.
The season has been as stunning as the previous ones and the cricketing world will be dyeing to see a perfect finale.
