Rajasthan Royals (RR) wicket-keeper batsman, Jos Buttler is privileged to support the Cancer Out Campaign during the last night’s encounter against the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in Jaipur.
Meanwhile, Buttler played a magical hand to keep his team in contention for the playoffs. The Englishmen remained unbeaten on 95 runs off just 60 deliveries to see his team through. His struck 11 boundaries and two sixes, as he brought his fourth consecutive fifty.
Stuart Binny (22) and Krishnappa Gowtham (13 off 4) provided good support, as Rajasthan cruised to victory with one ball to spare.
Previously, Chennai put up few good partnerships to post 176 runs on the board. Although the visitors lost an early wicket, Suresh Raina and Shane Watson ensured that they are well on track.
Lately, skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni played a responsible knock to guide his team to a good score after Chennai lost few wickets in the middle.
Buttler privileged to support the cause
Meanwhile, after the match, Buttler expressed his privilege to support a massive cause. Rajasthan donned Pink Jersey to create awareness among people regarding breast cancer.
He also noted it was a great win and they will fight together until the end.
“Special night last night, we keep fighting as a team! Great to support the amazing #CancerOut campaign and show our support! #HallaBol,” the post read.
However, Buttler has been in scintillating form notching up four back to back fifties. He will have to continue this red-hot form if RR wants to give themselves a chance of qualifying.
The Royals have three games, and they need to win all their remaining matches to stay in contention for the playoffs.
