The players will report to camp on March 26, and the camp will start the next day.
The pre-season camp will take place in Mohali, the home ground of Kings XI Punjab franchise.
KXIP, one of the four franchise which is plying their trade in the league right from the start of the tournament, it is yet to win an IPL trophy.
The team came close to winning it in 2014 but lost the final to Kolkata Knight Riders.
The franchise has revamped its squad for the upcoming season, and the team will look to do wonders for the upcoming season.
The franchise dropped a big surprise by retaining only one player viz Axar Patel on the IPL retention day.
Later, Kings XI, Punjab gave another surprise by appointing Ravichandran Ashwin as their captain.
It is to be noted that he missed the last season of IPL and had played just one T20 game in more than last one year.
Also, he is not a part of the limited-overs side now and only plays Test cricket.
The franchise seems to have taken a big risk by giving him the captaincy post.
Virender Sehwag, mentor and Head of Cricket Operations of the franchise, said that he always wanted a bowler to lead the side.
Last year, Glenn Maxwell led the side and Sehwag had a crucial role to play in it.
The franchise missed a chance of making it to the next stage after losing the last league stage game.
This year, Kings XI Punjab have a strong side, and the franchise will look to turn the tide in its favour.
Recently, the franchise roped in Venkatesh Prasad as its bowling coach.
Along with him, Mithun Manhas, Nishant Bordoloi also joined the backroom staff.
Manhas was also part of the backroom staff last year.
Kings XI Punjab also appointed Brad Hodge as their Head Coach for three years.
He performed the same role with Gujarat Lions for IPL 2016 and 2017.
