Kane Williamson:

“We were also going to bowl first. It’s important to assess conditions. It was nice to chase down the total last game.Yusuf’s soar so Hooda comes in for him.”

Preview:

The game can well be called the ‘Clash of the Titans’. The Super Kings and the Sunrisers are two of the most consistent teams in the league this term and the fact that they occupy the top two positions in the points table. The fans could not have asked for a better game to kick start their Sunday.

The Sunrisers have sealed their playoff spot with a thumping nine-wicket win over Delhi Daredevils in their last game. With 9 wins in 11 games, the Kane Williamson-led side looks set to finish in top two. A win against Super Kings will all but seal their place as one of the top two teams.

On the other hand, the Super Kings are yet to seal their playoff spot. Currently in the second spot with 7 wins in 11 games, a win against the Sunrisers will ensure their passage to the last four. However, a defeat could well derail their campaign and will also deal a huge blow to their top-two hopes.
