Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will look to keep their slim hopes alive in Vivo Indian Premier League’s (IPL) edition 11 when they faceoff scratchy-looking hosts Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) in the 48th match of the tournament.

Bangalore raised their hopes after defeating Delhi Daredevils in the previous encounter. They have had a pretty below par tournament so far and needs to play out of their skins to harbour hopes of qualifying to the playoffs stage.

Umesh Yadav has been quite brilliant in the powerplays. However, he has leaked runs in the death overs and has bowled way too short.

For Punjab, to make a change in their fortunes, Gayle will surely look to put up a substantial performance in a crucial clash against his former team.
