IPL 2018: MS Dhoni might color his hair yellow prior to IPL

Chennai Super Kings’ talismanic captain, MS Dhoni, might come up with a surprise this time around while donning the yellows of CSK. MSD’s hairstylist Sapna Moti Bhavnani recently took to social media to ask her followers whether to colour his hair yellow.

Sapna Bhavnani is a sought-after celebrity hair-stylist who has been associated with MS Dhoni since the beginning of his international career. She also works with stars such as John Abraham.

Using the popular poll options on Instagram stories, Sapna asked whether to colour Mahi’s hair yellow, which represents the sacred colours of the Chennai Super Kings.

During the initial years of MS Dhoni’s international cricketing career, the Ranchi star was known for his iconic long locks.

However, the Australian series down-under in 2008, MS Dhoni donned the cropped look and had been going strong ever since. It was Sapna Bhavnani herself who was responsible for Dhoni creating the style statement.

It will be interesting to see whether Mahi opts to create yet another style statement by colouring his hair yellow. The stylist was a common household name during the sixth season of Big Boss.

She was involved in scruffle with host Salman Khan during the show. Sapna Motwani also made cameo appearances in Pritish Nandy directed Pyar Ke Side Effects, and Ugly and Pagli.

“Salman is not God, neither am I. We have differences, he is the no. 1 star, which doesn’t mean that I have to act with him in a certain way. The house is not a reality. Nothing is real inside. People react on the smallest of things. I thought that Alag che (It’s different) was the concept and would have wanted one of my role models to win the show,” quoted the hair stylist.
