Former South African left-arm spinner, Paul Harris has questioned the team selection of Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) after a string of loss in the ongoing eleventh edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL)

Meanwhile, Punjab recently saw a dip in form while losing three matches on a trot. As a result, Punjab finds themselves in troubled waters with five teams in fray for two spots in the playoffs stage.

Last night, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) bowled out KXIP at 88 runs. Moreover, this has exposed wobbly Punjab middle-order, who has struggled to put their acts together in the lucrative league.

The opening pair of KL Rahul and Chris Gayle did a tremendous job at the top thus providing a shield for the middle-order. This, however, has raised speculations over KXIP team’s selection which has missed the likes of David Miller in most of the games.

IPL 2018: Paul Harris Questions Team Selection of Kings XI Punjab

Paul Harris question Miller’s exclusion:

The tall and lanky Harris has recently lashed out Punjab’s team selection and questioned the exclusion of Miller.

Explosive Proteas batter Miller, meanwhile, so far has played only two games scoring 50 runs so far. He has failed to earn the trust of the support staffs and thus hasn’t got much of a playing time.

Can anyone tell me why @DavidMillerSA12 is not getting game time at the IPL??” the tweet read.

The experienced southpaw has been with the side since 2012 and is an integral part of the squad.

However, he had a fallout and has not got enough game time. Miller will be raring to go out in the middle and prove his worth with the bat.
