The Indian Premier League (IPL) provides a perfect platform for the players to showcase their talent.
However, as the team backs its marquee and best players to be in the playing XI, not all players get their opportunity.
Thus, many players played just a solitary game in the IPL 2018.
Let’s take a look at the players who played only one match for their respective teams:
Chennai Super Kings
Mark Wood
Chennai Super Kings gave only one opportunity to Mark Wood. The England fast bowler leaked 49 runs in his only outing in the IPL. Wood later went back home to play County for Durham.
