Rajasthan Royals (RR) doesn’t find themselves in the best of positions after playing eight matches of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018. Ajinkya Rahane led side went on to win three matches to occupy a place in the bottom half of the points table.

The Jaipur-based outfit has been totally let down by their batsmen in one way or another. Their top order has failed to deliver the goods.

Subsequently, the likes of Ben Stokes and Jos Buttler haven’t risen to the occasion on the regular basis. Additionally, Rajasthan bowlers have also provided ordinary performances.

Dhawal Kulkarni and Jaydev Unadkat haven’t been able to get their act together. The foreign players have also led the team down with their mundane performances.

It is going to be a difficult road ahead for the Royals provided their current form.

The foreign players are supposed to play their A game – to provide a shot in the arm to their side.

How Rajasthan Royals can make their way into the final four of the tournament.

The inaugural champions can still make their way into the top four of the tournament.

Well, in order to achieve it, they should be at the top of their game.

A particular team needs to win at least seven matches to qualify for the playoff stages. Thus Rajasthan will have to win four matches to keep their hopes alive. They can cement their playoffs place if they are able to win five matches out of their remaining six in the tournament.

The Royals Royals will have their work cut out as they will face the in-form Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) in their next encounter.

Men in Blue cannot afford any more hiccups. Thus, they would have to be on the top of their game if they need to keep breathing in the competition.
