IPL 2018: Rumors Over the Finalists of the Tournament Cleared

The Indian Premier League always enthrals the fans with interesting twists and turns. A video went viral yesterday which claimed that Kolkata Knight Riders will meet Chennai Super Kings in the final. However, it is now revealed that Hotstar had made two videos.

The part two of the video which features Sunrisers Hyderabad has now come to the notice. Consequently, all the rumours of IPL final being fixed were quashed. Meanwhile, the previous video gave a bad image that the IPL final is fixed between Kolkata Knight Riders and Chennai Super Kings.

Meanwhile, Chennai Super Kings have already confirmed their berth in the final of the tournament. Chennai had got the better off Sunrisers Hyderabad in the first qualifier by two wickets. Faf du Plessis knock of 67 runs off just 42 balls had rescued Men in Yellow out of choppy waters.

Kolkata Knight Riders then went on to get the better off Rajasthan Royals by 25 runs in the elminator. Thus, the Men in Purple will lock horns with Sunrisers Hyderabad in the second qualifier of the competition.

All the doubts and rumours have now vanished.

Kolkata will play in their home den of Eden Gardens. Thus, Dinesh Karthik led team will definitely hold home advantage under their belt. Moreover, KKR has momentum on their side with four wins on the trot whereas Sunrisers have lost their last four matches.

Consequently, the winner of today’s match will meet Chennai Super Kings in the final of the tournament. The final will take place in Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
