IPL 2018: Sandeep Lamichanne Expresses Gratitude to Delhi Daredevils' Camp

Rising star Sandeep Lamichanne gave his gratitude to the Delhi Daredevils (DD) camp. The leg-spinner became the first Nepali player to ply on his trade in the lucrative Indian Premier League (IPL).

Sandeep impressed with his skills as he scalped five wickets in the three matches he played. The leggie gave his admiration for the exposure he received after playing in the best league in the cricketing world.

Great exposure for the Youngster:

Furthermore, Sandeep is just 17-years-old. Consequently, the youngster is expected to get better with experience. It was a great exposure for the young lad – to play with and against one of the best in the business.

Moreover, Sandeep went on to thank Daredevils think thank for putting their weight behind him. It was a learning experience for the young lad and he must have taken a lot in his book after playing in IPL.

Meanwhile, Sandeep best performance came against defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI).

The Nepalese leg-spinner scalped three wickets and conceded 36 runs in the last league match for Daredevils. Sandeep’s performance not only helped Delhi in winning the match but also it played a hand in shutting down the playoffs door for the reigning champions Indians.

The wrist-spinner was also able to impress with his wrong ones. Sandeep bowled with guile in the three opportunities he received at the fag end of the tournament. These good performances must have given a shot in the arm to the youngster.

Consequently, this is the beauty of the IPL as it gives young players an opportunity to showcase the talent they possess in their armoury.

Sandeep Lamichanne took to Twitter to give his gratitude to the Delhi Daredevils.

Sandeep’s post read as “I would like to express my sincere thanks to @DelhiDaredevils for believing in me and giving me an opportunity to play @IPL! It was a great experience to learn new things and exposure I got. Thank you, everyone, who stood with me in this wonderful journey and making this possible”.
