Royal Challengers Bangalore’s performance on the field is not up to the mark in the ongoing season. The batting heavy side is languishing at the seventh position in the points table, having managed just 2 wins in 7 games. But when it comes to enjoying off the field, there are very teams who do it better than the Royal Challengers.

In a recent interview with Eros Now, some big names from the franchise spilled some dressing room beans. Skipper Virat Kohli, one of the biggest pranksters in the team, started the proceedings. The 29-year old revealed that the players enjoy non-stop banter and none of them feel bad about it at all.

“Banter non-stop all day and no one feels bad about anything because there is no agenda, there is no motive behind it. It’s just pure enjoying being in each other’s company and just a bunch of friends playing together,” Kohli said.

It was then AB de Villiers turn. The Proteas star started by saying that who he ends up embarrassing himself when he tries to dance with his mates.

“I am not a big dancer. I embarrass myself more often than not. Some guys enjoy dancing. Chris Gayle used to do a lot of dancing, Virat, Mandeep Singh doing his Punjabi dances. I tried to join in once or twice but just embarrass myself. So there are always funny moments,” he said.

He further opened up on his first tour of India.

“It was amazing. Bit of a culture shock. The first time I came here as Under-19 and played the Commonwealth games for South Africa,” he said while admitting that he loves coming to India.

Brendon McCullum also shared his views on playing the game in this cricket obsessed nation.

“India for me is a wonderful country. The experience of coming over here as a cricketer and see the passion that the people have for the game and the respect they have for the cricketers is just amazing. I feel very lucky to come over here,” he said.
