No matter what the situation is, Virender Sehwag always manages to come up with a tweet that leaves a wide smile on his millions of followers’ face. The former India batsman was one of the most entertaining batsmen in his playing days. And he has made sure to entertain fans even after retiring albeit on a different platform.

The swashbuckling batsman has carved his own niche on Twitter with his hilarious tweets. The batting legend loves to play with words, uses pun and wit to make his tweets interesting for the readers and die-hard fans in particular. And not surprisingly, he is one of the most popular cricketers on Twitter.

His latest tweet is related to the viral Lungi-Pant joke which is doing round across the social media. The joke found its way aming the fans after Chennai Super Kings handed debut to their South African recruit Lungi Ngidi for the game against Delhi Daredevils which had Rishabh Pant in its playing eleven.

The Super Kings went on to win the game by 13 runs but not before being given a mighty scare be Pant. Chasing an improbable 212, Delhi had their back against the wall. The national capital-based outfit was reeling at 74 for 4 before Pant decided to take matters in his own hand. The highly-rated wicketkeeper batsman scored a 32-ball fifty to keep his team in the hunt. However, his fight came to an end in the 18th over when Ngidi sent him back. The southpaw scored 79 off just 45 balls with the help of 7 fours and 4 sixes.

Lungi dismissing Pant soon went viral on Twitter and Sehwag also could not stop himself from getting involved in it. The Kings XI Punjab mentor took to Twitter to post his own version of the Lungi-Pant joke. He also praise Pant for the knock, tweeting:

“Lungi 1, Pant 0.
But well played Pant !”
