IPL 2018: Watch - Karn Sharma Dismisses Dangerous Kane Williamson

After a long wait for the one-and-a-half-month, we are witnessing the grand finale of the Vivo Indian Premier League’s season eleven. The two best teams of the tournament Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) led by Kane Williamson and Mahendra Singh Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are squaring off in the all-important final.

Chennai will be pretty excited about the fact that they are meeting Hyderabad whom they have beaten in all 3 previous encounters.

Ahead of the encounter, Chennai was cited as the favourites to win super Sunday’s final especially given the fact that they have beaten Hyderabad in all three previous encounters.

It was Super Kings’ skipper Dhoni, who won the toss and opted to field. It has been the trend in the tournament and chasing might well bring out the best from Chennai.

However, they will be worried about a certain Rashid Khan, who has been in some sensational form all through the tournament.

Injured Wriddhiman Saha made way for Shreevats Goswami. The duo of Shikhar Dhawan and Goswami got off to a sensible start. However, Goswami was run out while attempting a run which didn’t exist.

From there on, Dhawan and SRH skipper stitched together a brilliant partnership which got them back into the game.

The dismissal of Kane Williamson:

Ravindra Jadeja castled Dhawan in his very first over. However, Williamson kept on the good work and played quite sensibly. He struck the big shots whenever required.

After scoring a fluent 47 of just 36 deliveries, the leg-spinner Karn Sharma foxed Williamson. He stepped down the track to smash him for a big six.

However, he missed it altogether and Dhoni whipped off the bails without any problem.

Despite the wicket, Hyderabad played themselves in and riding on a brilliant knock from Yusuf Pathan. He struck some lusty blows and helped Hyderabad recover from a precarious situation.
