Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are going through a good space after three wins from six games to start of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018.
However, they suffered a loss in the last night’s game against the Kings XI Punjab by nine wickets. They were at the opposite end of some brutal hitting by Chris Gayle and KL Rahul.
Punjab reached their revised target of 125 runs with eleven balls to spare banking on Chris Gayle (62*) and KL Rahul’s (60) opening stand of 116.
Gayle continued his rich form, as scored yet another fifty – to strengthen Punjab’s lead. Rahul also provided him with ample support with a blazing 60 off just 27 deliveries.
However, previously, the home team banked on Chris Lynn’s outstanding knock of 74 – to post a mammoth total on the board.
Robin Uthappa and Dinesh Karthik also provided good support to the firing Lynn.

During a Nokia ad shoot, the players got in a lighter mood and had a gala time pulling each other’s leg. In a video posted on Twitter by KKR’s official handle, Windies all-rounder Andre Russell imitates the likes of Karthik and Uthappa.
Meanwhile, the Windies cricketers are fun loving and always keeps the dressing room entertaining.
