IPL 2018: List of wicketkeeper-batsmen in mega auction for eleventh edition

When it comes to the gathering of balls and the onus has been on the wicketkeepers. The task has been a crucial one in the gentleman’s game, and the IPL 2018 auction has further made it clear by springing a surprise in the list on Saturday (January 27) afternoon.
The wicketkeeper-batsman Sanju Samson sealed INR 8 crore deal with the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Rajasthan Royals, as the batsman has been prolific while donning the gloves.
On the other side, wicketkeeper Robin Uthappa has sealed in INR 6.4 crore from Kolkata Knight Riders while making the use of Right to Match card.
As many as four players went unsold in the list of 11 players in the wicket-keeping bracket.
England glovemen Jonny Bairstow, Sam Billings, went unsold alongside Naman Ojha and Parthiv Patel.
Known for flaying the top-notch bowling attack, Jos Buttler has been roped in by Rajasthan Royals in 4.4 crores which further saw the right-handed batter delivering owing to the batting prowess.
As the shortest version of the game has witnessed some remarkable performances throughout the past editions of the lucrative league which subsequently saw the glovemen delivering according to the expectations of the team management and the die-hard fans.

- England wicketkeeper-batsman Jonny Bairstow remained unsold in the set for wicketkeeper category.
- Interestingly, Wriddhiman Saha collected INR 5 crore from Sunrisers Hyderabad after being the part of KXIP in the tenth edition.
- South African gloveman Quinton de Kock will play for Royal Challengers Bangalore after Delhi Daredevils showed no interest in using the Right to Match card against the amount of INR 2.8 crore.
- Parthiv Patel remained unsold in the wicketkeeper category.
