On Sunday (14th April) evening, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) beat the home team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at Eden Gardens (Kolkata). The visiting side won this match by five wickets (with two balls remaining).

After the CSK captain MS Dhoni decided to bowl first, KKR managed to score 161/8 (20 overs) in the first innings. CSK successfully chased down that target in 19.4 overs after losing five wickets.

On the other hand, it is also the second best bowling figures by an overseas bowler during a T20 match between KKR and CSK. On both occasions, the record is 4-0-21-4 by Makhaya Ntini (CSK) at Kolkata on 18th May 2008.
