It was a good bowling performance by the Sunrisers Hyderabad as they kept Delhi Capitals to a below-par score of 155/7 in their allotted 20 overs. It was the Sunrisers Hyderabad skipperIPL 2019, Match  Kane Williamson who won the toss and opted to field. Openers Prithvi Shaw and Shikhar Dhawan came out to begin proceedings.

It was a perfect start from Sunrisers Hyderabad as comeback man Khaleel Ahmed bagged the important wicket in his very first over. He made a terrific comeback as he bagged 3 crucial wickets during crucial junctures of the game. Delhi Capitals also made a few changes. They brought in New Zealand opener Colin Munro and he looked in ominous touch from the outset.

The southpaw smashed some amazing shots to get going and was quite severe on Khaleel Ahmed who got off to a great start with the ball. Captain Shreyas Iyer looked in great touch and shared a good stand with Rishabh Pant. However the wicket-keeper batsman Risha h Pant was pretty dodgy. They set themselves to bat till the end but never got the finishing kick.

While Shreyas Iyer made 45 of 40 deliveries, Colin Munro chipped in with 40. However, Delhi Capitals had a hiccup towards the later stages as none of the batsmen failed to press on the accelerator. Rishabh Pant wanted to make his opportunity count but he was dismissed by Khaleel after he made 23 of 19 deliveries.

Rashid Khan also bowled quite brilliantly and bagged the wicket of Chris Morris in the final over. He concedes 21 runs in 4 overs for a solitary wicket. At the halfway stage it will definitely be Sunrisers Hyderabad who will be the happier unit. They should back themselves to chase the target down. However, they should bat well to chase the target down.
