South African pacer Lungi Ngidi has dropped a major bombshell that he is clearly unhappy at his present IPL franchise, Chennai Super Kings (CSK). Ngidi was signed by the three-time champions of the Indian Premier League in the 2018 season wherein the Men in Yellow won their third IPL title.

During the entire 2019 IPL season, Lungi Ngidi couldn’t represent the Chennai-based franchise as he was suffering from a side strain. In that season, Chennai Super Kings qualified for the final but Mumbai Indians (MI) clinched the title last year. Ngidi has been able to make it in the first eleven of the team only twice this season and now he seems extremely dejected with the franchise.

On Friday, Lungi Ngidi took to Twitter and write, “There’s a lot of bad things that they wishing on me.”

As soon as the comments started flooding in, a lot of fans commented on Ngidi’s post. Among one of them was a comment that read, “You deserve a better IPL team bro”.

What was more cryptic about the entire thread was the fact that Lungi Ngidi liked this very tweet and ever since then, there is a strong indication that Ngidi is not at all happy with Chennai Super Kings at the moment.

Chennai Super Kings’ Woes Don’t Seem To End

Chennai Super Kings have had a forgetful IPL 2020 campaign so far. In the 6 games that they have played, Chennai Super Kings have lost 4 games and won only a couple of games so far. Chennai Super Kings are on the 6th spot in the IPL 2020 points table and they will now have to win atleast 6 out of the 8 games left in the season to qualify for the playoffs.
