IPL 2020 Match 29: SunRisers Hyderabad vs Chennai Super Kings: Weather Forecast

The 29th game of the Dream11 IPL 2020 will see SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) lock horns with Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in what is a crucial game was both sides at the Dubai International Stadium on Tuesday.

SunRisers Hyderabad would be really disappointed with the way things panned out in the last game against the Rajasthan Royals. After having dominated the game for the best part of 40 overs, the ‘Orange Army’ was undone by the assault unleashed by the duo of Rahul Tewatia and Riyan Parag at the death.

With just three wins in seven games, SRH needs to string a few victories in a row to stay afloat in the competition and they will be hoping to do an encore of their performance, the last time they locked horns with the Chennai Super Kings.

SunRisers Hyderabad defeated Chennai Super Kings in their last meeting

The Super Kings, on the other hand, are in a complete rut, and as MS Dhoni suggested in the post-match interview after his side suffered their 5th defeat in seven games, that there are too many holes to plug in their steadily sinking ship.

The biggest issue for CSK in this IPL has been the lack of intent shown by their batsmen during the run-chase, especially in the first 10 overs. In the last game too, the former champions huffed and puffed their way to a mere 47 runs in the first half of their run-chase thus taking the required run-rate beyond manageable proportions.

MS Dhoni talked at length in the post-match interview about the need for batsmen to take some initiative and show some intent, especially during the initial part of their innings. Will it result in a change in approach in the upcoming fixture against SRH? We’ll have to wait and see.
