The caravan of the Dream11 IPL rolls on and the 47th match will see Delhi Capitals lock horns with SunRisers Hyderabad at the Dubai International Stadium on Tuesday.

Delhi Capitals come into this game on the back of a crushing 59-run+defeat at the hands of Kolkata Knight Riders, meaning that they still need one win to officially qualify for the playoffs.

The last game saw Capitals falter not only in their batting but also in their approach while fielding. Shreyas Iyer leadership was pretty disappointing as his tactics of employing spin against Sunil Narine backfired substantially.

Narine took full advantage of Ashwin and slow medium pacers like Marcus Stoinis and his partnership with Nitish Rana just knocked the stuffing out of the Delhi Capitals attack.

Then while chasing, the lack of other batsmen was exposed with a rare failure from Shikhar Dhawan as none of the likes of Ajinkya Rahane, Rishabh Pant, Marcus Stoinis, Shimron Hetmyer stuck around with Shreyas Iyer.

With the tournament moving towards the business end, the Delhi Capitals will look to shrug off the blip and return to winning ways against a team, who is in desperate need of a win to stay afloat in SunRisers Hyderabad.

With just 4 wins in 7 games, each game for the SunRisers Hyderabad is a virtual knockout. They come into this game after having suffered one of the worst possible collapses that you’ll ever see; one that once again impinged the sides’ over-dependence on Warner and Bairstow.

Chasing 127 against KXIP, SunRisers Hyderabad were cruising at 0-56 after 6 overs before a middle-order meltdown happened that saw them lose their last 7 wickets for 3 runs, eventually getting bowled out for 114.

Can SRH stage a fightback against DC and live to fight another day in IPL 2020?
