The IPL 2020 was scheduled to begin on 29 March. It has now been postponed to April 15 by the BCCI. This decision has been made because of the increasing outbreak of the coronavirus.

According to media reports, this year’s IPL can be shortened. Along with this, to reduce the travel of players, matches can be done in a few stadiums.

Today, we are going to tell you about three such stadiums, where the games can be held.

M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore is counted among the best batting wickets in India. On this pitch, Chris Gayle scored a century from 30 balls. There are more cases of corona in Karnataka, but still, games can be organized keeping in view the management. It is also the home ground of RCB.

In the manner in which the outbreak of Coronavirus is increasing, it is difficult to have an IPL match with the audience. Should the delay extend, the tournament is also expected to get cancelled? Even if the event happens, the IPL Governing Council may consider the M Chinnaswamy Stadium as an alternative.

If all the matches have to conducted in a limited radius, so apart from the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, the MA Chidambaram Stadium can also be considered. It is also the home ground of the Chennai Super Kings.

Coronavirus has not created much havoc in Tamil Nadu. For this reason, BCCI will not have to face any difficulty in selecting this venue.

The pitch here is helpful for spin bowling. All teams are battling against the spin bowling of Chennai Super Kings. If a large number of matches take place here, the pitch will be under BCCI and it can be a thing to worry for CSK as this season too, they have added many spinners.

Maharashtra and Kerala are the states most affected by the Coronavirus Pandemic. In such a situation, it cannot be thought of organizing matches there.

The Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad may be the third option in such circumstances. The distance from Hyderabad to Bangalore and Chennai is not much. For this reason, the travelling time will also be saved.

Telangana is also not much affected by the corona. The final match of IPL 2019 was played at this stadium.

This season is short and limited, so it can be played here too. Along with the players, other members who are part of the IPL will also have to travel a lot less.
