Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) has had a good start to this edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) winning five games out of their seven so far.

However, coming from the back of a defeat they will look to hit the winning momentum when they face-off against rusty-looking Mumbai Indians (MI) in the next match at Holkar Stadium in Indore on May 4 (Friday).

Meanwhile, the three-time champions Indians had a poor start winning only two matches out of their eight games.

The devastating form of KL Rahul and Chris Gayle has boosted the KXIP dugout. Afghanistan’s rookie mystery spinner Mujeeb ur Rahman, having picked up seven wickets at an economy rate of 6.51, and that has been KXIP’s key component in the bowling attack.

And, for Mumbai Indians, their start has been a reason for concern with Evil Lewis struggling. To accommodate Suryakumar Yadav as an opener, Rohit Sharma (196 in 8 matches) has shuffled his own batting position, but that has resulted in inconsistency affecting Indians.

However, Mumbai-based outfit needs to produce the goods and do it soon to harbour any hopes of making the Playoffs.

Weather Forecast for the game:

According to Accu Weather, the temperature is likely to hover around 37 to 41 degree Celcius.

However, it will go down in the evening adding much to the relief of the players. It is likely to be around 30 and 33 degrees Celsius during the game time.

Meanwhile, there are only minimal chances of rain which will keep the supporters entertained. However, from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM, it might rain though the chances are very minimum.

It is expected to be a complete game of forty overs; to entertain the jampacked crowd at the home venue of Kings XI Punjab.
