Following a couple of defeats, Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) will be eagerly awaiting to pick crucial points when they wrestle against Rajasthan Royals (RR) to stay in contention for the playoffs of the ongoing season eleven of Indian Premier League (IPL).

Meanwhile, a win for Punjab will give them the third spot while Rajasthan will jump to the fifth spot with a win. As a result, both the teams will be striving for a win and bring two crucial points under their belt.

Punjab has banked on their opening duo of KL Rahul and Chris Gayle in most of the matches. However, their middle-order has been vulnerable and needs to show some character.

On the other hand, the Royals have experienced a topsy-turvy campaign so far. They need put their act together and strive for consistency. Their big guns have failed to make a mark yet in this tournament and will have to cash in.

While Punjab’s bowling has been average so far, Jofra Archer’s inclusion has boosted Rajasthan.
