Royal Challengers Bangalore’s (RCB) fast bowler Umesh Yadav has dedicated his Purple Cap to his wife Tanya Wadhwa. The right-handed speedster scalped two wickets against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) to move to the top of the leading wicket-takers in the season.

Umesh Yadav has taken 13 wickets thus far in the nine matches. Delhi Daredevils (DD) fast bowler Trent Boult has also scalped 13 wickets in the ten matches.

However, as Umesh has a better economy rate than Boult, he was awarded the Purple Cap.

Meanwhile, Royal Challengers problems are getting manifold after every match. Virat Kohli-led team has won only three matches and they have lost six to continue their misery in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018.

But, there is no denying the fact that it is going to be a difficult road ahead for the Men in Red if they are to make it to the playoffs stage.

Royal Challengers will next take on table leaders Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on May 7 at latter’s home ground, with Umesh Yadav expecting to deliver big.
