Irfan Pathan recently joined Jammu and Kashmir domestic team as a mentor cum player. As a result, he took many initiatives so far the team since his arriving. In a similar effort, Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) recently host the practice matches between J&K and Uttar Pradesh subsequently.

Therefore, Irfan Pathan is acting as a mainstay behind the revival of the war-torn area of Kashmir region. In the first kind of its initiative, he helped Jammu and Kashmir to host four pre-season practice matches against Uttar Pradesh consequently.

As a result, the discarded all-rounder took Twitter to thank Rajiv Shukla for his kind gesture to support the cause.

“On behalf of JKCA, I would like to Thank @ShuklaRajiv ji for helping us organize four practice matches here in Kashmir vs UPCA which will not only help both the teams prepare for the grueling domestic cricketing season but also revive cricket in Kashmir,” Irfan tweeted.
