Following a Mankading act in the ICC Under-19 World Cup, the veteran fast bowler of England James Anderson urges International Cricket Council (ICC)) and Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) to sort out the rule as quickly as possible. He raised his voice after Afghanistan’s young bowler Noor Ahmed Mankaded Pakistan’s set batsman — Mohammad Huraira.
Huraira struck 64 off 76 balls on Friday as Pakistan comfortably chased down 190 to beat Afghanistan with 53 balls to spare in the knock-out match at the youth tournament.
Speaking of the same, Afghan captain Farhan Zakhil admitted that they may not have used the tactic if they had been in a better position.
“At that time, we realised let’s do something different to build pressure on Pakistan,” Zakhil told ESPN.
“To be honest, it was not in the spirit of the game,” he added.

However, the 37-year-old James Anderson doesn’t want Mankading in the game of cricket at any cost.
Asking ICC and MCC, the fast bowler wrote: “Can we sort out (Remove) this law please, ICC and MCC?”

This is not the first time that Mankad had made it to the headlines. The U19 World Cup tournament has got a bit of history when the West Indies bowler used the trick to win it for his side at a crucial stage of the contest in 2016.
Eventually, they won the World Cup. Recently, the experienced Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin also used the same tactic to get Jos Buttler in IPL.

The likes of Shane Watson, Dale Steyn, Eoin Morgan and several other biggies from the world of cricket condemned Ashwin’s act. But while all of them resorted to commenting, Anderson went overboard to show his objection.
England’s highest Test wicket-taker was seen shredding a photograph of Ashwin as he expressed his displeasure on the Mankad.
According to ICC Rule 41.161, if a non-striker player is out of the crease, the bowler may dismiss him, but the players refrain from taking such action to maintain the game spirit.
