Jasprit Bumrah Shares his Experience With the Test team in South Africa

The young Indian team under the leadership of Virat Kohli will be eyeing to register there first series win in South Africa. India will play three Test matches followed by six ODIs and three T20Is starting from January 5 at Newlands, Capetown. It will be challenging for young Bumrah to master his bowling on bouncy tracks.
India’s pace attack tried to bowl long spells to up the ante. India will rely heavily on pace battery of Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mohammad Shami, Umesh Yadav, Ishant Sharma, and Jasprit Bumrah. In a chat with bcci tv, Bumrah talked extensively about his journey from white ball cricket to red ball cricket and threw some light on India’s first practice session.
“This is our first practice session after arriving at Cape Town. We are doing centre-wicket practice and the batsmen are playing according to their batting order. It was a good productive session as we got a feel of the wicket and the weather. It was a good practice session for the team as they put in a lot of hard work, Bumrah said in the video.

Talking about his experience with the first training session in South Africa, Bumrah admitted that it was a good feeling.
“For me as well, it was a good session as it is my first trip to South Africa with the Test team. I have been with the team in the ODI set-up but being a part of the Test team is a good feeling. I have a lot to learn from the senior bowlers and the bowling coach as well,” the 24-year-old Bumrah revealed.

Bumrah further mentioned that the session was a productive bowling session for all the bowlers.
“It was a good long productive bowling session for all the bowlers. Since there was a little bit of juice in the wicket, our wicket-keeper too was feeling a little bit of pace which are bowlers were generating,” Bumrah signed off.
