Jimmy Neesham just loves to rile up fans especially the Indian fans on Twitter. Neesham is one of the most active cricketers on Twitter and he loves to interact with his followers. But on most of the occasions, he likes to take on the Indian fans who are known for going over the board when someone criticises any Indian cricketer.

Riling up the Indian fans is never a good idea but Neesham has probably developed a liking for it. In his latest tweet, he took a hilarious shot at India skipper Virat Kohli after England opener Rory Burns scored a century in the Ashes.

Rory Burns scored a gritty maiden Test hundred on day two of the first Ashes Test at Edgbaston. His century means England trail Australia by only 17 runs, still with six first-innings wickets in hand. England were 267 for 4 when the day ended. Burns’ place was under threat heading into his Ashes debut after averaging only 22.28 through his first seven Tests and registering scores of six in both innings against Ireland at Lord’s last week. However, the left-handed bounced back in style with 125 not out.

But while the cricketing world was busy praising Burns for his gritty knock, Jimmy Neesham used the opportunity for another purpose. The New Zealand allrounder also praised Burns but in doing so, he made sure to take a hilarious dig at Kohli, writing:

“Rory Burns now has more runs in his first Ashes innings than Virat Kohli has in his entire Ashes career ?‍♂️”

Unsurprisingly, the Indian fans were quick to respond to Jimmy Neesham’s tweet. But instead of criticising him or slamming him, the fans posted even more hilarious replies.
