Watch: Jofra Archer Knocks Off Quinton de Kock's Stumps After Being Hit For Six

Rajasthan Royals spearhead Jofra Archer knocked over Mumbai Indians’ Quinton de Kock after being dispatched for a maximum in a dramatic fashion in the ongoing match of the IPL 2020. Quinton de Kock was the first wicket to fall as Jofra Archer sent him packing in the fifth delivery of the match.

Archer bowler a delivery which clocked at 150kmph in the fourth ball of the match. But it made hardly any difference to the South Africa limited-overs captain and Mumbai Indians opener de Kock as he smashed it for a maximum – to record the first six of the match. The ball went out of the park as the opener picked up the short of a length delivery well and pulled it for a maximum.

But the Barbadian had the last laugh as he uprooted the leg stump of de Kock after an inside edge. That delivery clocked at 145kmph and the wicker was well documented by the IPL on their official website.

The match is important from Rajasthan Royals’ perspective to have a glimmer of hope to qualify for the IPL 2020 playoffs. A victory will help them have an outside chance to qualify while Mumbai Indians already have their one foot in the playoffs. Victory for the defending champions will mean that they will add on to their dominating run in the lucrative tournament.
