England fast bowler Katherine Brunt who is the leading wicket-taker in One-day Internationals hinted that she might retire after November’s ICC World T20 2018 tournament.

However, in an interview, Katherine stated that her only goal is to lift the World T20 trophy.

“What’s left is the T20 World Cup in November. That’s the biggest goal, the only goal. That would be a good ending, wouldn’t it?” Katherineadded.

Furthermore, Brunt also talked about the struggle to find a way in boys cricket. She was a little bit introvert and shy when she was a child. Katherine also called Natalie Sciver as her best friend in the whole world.

“She went to private school, her parents are very well off, she has all that security, and I’m the complete opposite,” Katherine said.

“My dad was a miner for 25 years, down the pits, six kids, with a stay-at-home mum. And yet we get on so well. It’s mainly because she’s got a lot of patience with me, because I’m a nutter,” Katherine added.

Moreover, Katherine was a part of England side when they beat India to win the World Cup in 2017 on their home soil. She wants to be a part of the team to repeat the honour at this year’s World T20.

Meanwhile, Kathrine revealed that, if she does any coaching after the retirement, that will be a private one. She also added that she would coach someone who has the same passion in him or her. She promised to nurture the talent amongst the talented player and will opt for the commentary stint in the future.

“If I do any coaching after I retire it’ll be private, one-to-one. And it would only be someone with the same fire and passion that I had when I was their age. If I can see some of that in them, I’ll commit to it wholeheartedly. And I would love that. Other than that, I’d love to try my hand at commentary. I’d love to get my personality across, and be me, be real.” Katherine said.
