Currently, the former Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni is in the United States of America alongside Kedar Jadhav enjoying a trip. Meanwhile, celebrating the national sports day of India, MS Dhoni and Kedar Jadhav spent their time playing Golf and also paid tributes to the greatest player of the Hockey game, Dhyan Chand.

Dhyan Chand, the legendary hockey player, was born today in 1905. His birth anniversary is celebrated as National Sports Day in the country. On Dhyan Chand’s 114th birth anniversary today, leaders and sportsmen around the world paid tribute to the hockey wizard who got great laurels to the nation.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni spent the national sports day in the United States playing golf with teammate Kedar Jadhav. Dhoni was sporting a black bandana with his trademark salt-and-pepper stubble holding the golf club in his hand posing for a photo with Kedar and two others.

Kedar Jadhav dedicated his Instagram post to hockey legend Major Dhyan Chand on occasion of the National Sports Day. “Happy #NationalSportsDay to all of you. Remembering Dhyanchand Ji, the wizard of hockey… #nationalsportsday,” Jadhav captioned the picture.

On the work front, the wicket-keeper-batsman MS Dhoni has taken a two-month break from cricket, while Kedar Jadhav, who is not a part of India Test team structure joined him in the US.

Meanwhile, there is still some uncertainty over MS Dhoni’s selection dilemma over Indian next T20I series against South Africa starting September 15 in Dharamsala. On the other hand, Kedar Jadhav would also stay away from the South Africa series, as he isn’t in the plans for Test and T20I games.

After the completion of India’s tour of West Indies following the final Test match in Jamaica, the Men in Blue will take on South Africa in a three-match T20I and Test series at home starting from September 15. Many of his fans are hoping that MS Dhoni would make a return to the squad following his 15-day stint with the Indian Army.
