Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) came up with a heart-warming gesture in match 43 of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020) after they won their game against the latter by 12 runs. Kings XI Punjab dedicated this win to Mandeep Singh’s late father, who passed away a day before the match against Hyderabad. Mandeep Singh was in the Playing 11 on Saturday as the KXIP players also donned black-arm band to portray their remorse for Mandeep’s personal tragedy.

It was revealed on Thursday that Mandeep Singh’s father had passed away. However, Mandeep’s brother denied any such unpleasant occurrence. Unfortunately, the tragic event took place the day before yesterday and was confirmed eventually. Kings XI Punjab, led by KL Rahul, made an excellent gesture of wearing black armbands to honour their teammate’s late father.
