As the country continues to grapple against the outbreak of the novel coronavirus epidemic, KL Rahul has donated PPE kits to CISF personnel to help fight against the deadly virus. The top-order India batsman made the donations for the CISF personnel at Bengaluru airport. However, the total number of PPE kits donated, has not been clarified in the PTI report.

KL Rahul, who will be next seen in action during the IPL 2020, said that the CISF has been protecting the country and risking the lives. So it becomes a responsibility for everyone to make them feel safe and comfortable.

“The CISF is protecting us day and night. They are risking their lives so that we can live comfortably. “It is not only mine but everybody’s responsibility to make them feel safe and comfortable. This is just a small gesture from my end for them.” KL Rahul told PTI.

It will also be the first season as captain for KL Rahul. The India top-order batsman was promoted to the position after his phenomenal run for KXIP in the previous edition of IPL.
