Chris Gayle, who self proclaims as Universe Boss is turning 40-year old today. The stylish southpaw received birthday greetings from all his friends across the globe. However, the wish from KL Rahul stands out, as he pulled the leg of Chris Gayle, which is certainly a big risk taken by the stylish Indian batsman.

KL Rahul and Chris Gayle share a nice rapport between them, as they played many IPL matches as opening pair for Royal Challengers Bangalore and now, for Kings XI Punjab. Wishing Gayle on his birthday, KL Rahul captioned asking Chris Gayle to not blush on his birthday.

Earlier, Chris Gayle was on the headlines for the same reason when he was playing in Big Bash League. He asked the reported to not blush, which saw him being the victim of Cricket Australia ban.

“Happy birthday @henrygayle Dont blush boss. Wish u many more legend,” Rahul wrote in a cheeky tweet, referring to the infamous word which had gotten Gayle into trouble a few years back.

The Windies legend is icon across the globe, having mesmerised fans with his power-hitting in virtually every country he has played in. A fearsome batsman for the opposition on the field and a dear friend off it. Gayle will surely go down in cricketing history as one of the most charismatic players of all time.

The dashing batsman made his international debut way back in September 1999 and is not finished even after two decades. The veteran might be in the twilight of his career but nothing can deny his massive contribution towards West Indies cricket.

In ODIs, the batsman featured in 300 matches and amassed 10480 runs, which is the highest number of runs for any Caribbean batsman in this format. Gayle has also played 58 T20Is in which he scored 1627 runs. In Tests, he appeared in 103 Tests in which he has accumulated 7215 runs.
