KL Rahul Was The Chief Contributor In Helping Jacob Martin's Hospital Expenses

Perhaps, KL Rahul would have been plying his trade in the Indian National Cricket Team if he wasn’t addressed Koffee With Karan Show alongside Hardik Pandya. Despite, he was decent in the show, the comments made by Hardik saw him being on the wrong side of things. Meanwhile, here comes a piece of news about him, which shows a good side of him. It came to know after the wife of Jacob Martin revealed to the Mumbai Mirror.

After being on a ventilator for nearly a month, former India cricketer Jacob Martin has been shifted to the general ward from the ICU (Intensive Care Unit). Martin had an accident in Baroda, which caused serious injuries to his liver and lungs.

However, Martin is now out of danger and can talk. His wife Khyati said that though financial assistance has been received from several sources, she will be needing more money in the coming days. Regarding the same, a lot of well-known cricketers and the board have helped him.

A Big thanks to KL Rahul and team – Jacob Martin

Chennai Super Kings contributed INR 3 Lakhs, BCCI and Baroda boards also gave their helping hands. Meanwhile, players like Sourav Ganguly, Krunal Pandya also gave their help for Martin’s family. Meanwhile, it is learnt from the Mumbai Mirror reports that KL Rahul’s team has been one of the major contributors.

“A big thanks to Rahul and everyone who has helped,” he said. His wife Khyati said that Rahul’s team contacted the family after reading about Martin’s plight in Mirror. “They asked about our immediate requirement and the money was transferred into our account the same day,” she said.

“The body is reacting very well to treatment and I am now in a stable condition. I am hoping to be home in a couple of days and I want return to the ground. I can’t wait for it, I just want to get back to cricket,” he added. Speaking of India’s success, ”I am aware that some great things have happened in the last 2 months.”

Well, it is pleasing to know that KL Rahul is involving in such good deeds. He is currently out of the Indian National Cricket Team and was asked to show his skills for India A to make a return to the national side.
