Legends League Cricket 2022 Schedule Announced, 5 Cities In India To Host Matches

The organizers of the Legends League Cricket 2022 T20 tournament have announced the schedule for the season and also named the venues where the matches will be played. The entire tournament will be played from September 16 to October 8, 2022.

The tournament will begin with a special match at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata between the India Maharajas and the World Giants. The Indian team will be led by BCCI President Sourav Ganguly and the world team will be captained by Eoin Morgan. This match will be played to commemorate the 75th Year of Indian Independence.

Apart from Kolkata, which will host 3 matches in total from the 16th to the 18th of September, the other venues for the Legends League Cricket 2022 are New Delhi, Cuttack, Lucknow, and Jodhpur. The venues for the playoffs and the final will be announced later.

All the grounds will have three matches each apart from Jodhpur and Lucknow, where two matches are planned.

Ravi Shastri, Commissioner, Legends League Cricket said, “We are coming to mesmerise the cricketing fans at these wonderful cricket grounds. This festival season we will be presenting the cricket carnival with Top Legends competing for the first Legends League Cricket Title.”

Meanwhile, in an official statement, it was asserted that the players from across 10 foreign countries will be participating in the special match of the league. It was further stated that the 4 teams will be participating in the Legends League Cricket tournament and overall 15 games will be played this season.

We are soon announcing our ticketing partner along with the dates for the availability of tickets online.  With the lineup of iconic player from the 10 nations in a new format, I am sure fans will experience powerful performances on the pitch and a great season this year.”

“We are not getting any players from Pakistan for the upcoming season. We will soon be adding some more international players into the Draft. And all our Legends would be playing full season with us and not miss any matches for any other League or commitment. For final match of this season we are looking at Dehradun.”

Play-Offs: 5th, and 7th October 2022 – Venue to be announced
Finals on 8th October 2022- Venue to be announced
