Watch: Lord's Cricket Ground Sends Birthday Wishes to Ajinkya Rahane

Lord’s Cricket Ground send the birthday wishes to Indian vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane.

The right-hander is celebrating his 30th Birthday today. Meanwhile, it is well known that Indian red ball deputy had scored a fine century at the home of cricket, Lord’s on the 2014 tour.

Meanwhile, Rahane also replied to the post of Lord’s Cricket Ground. The right-hander added he is looking forward to playing in the English conditions. The flamboyant batsman had scored 299 runs in the ten innings on previous India’s tour of England.

Rahane has shown a good technique in overseas conditions.

Rahane accumulated 103 runs from 154 balls to take India’s total to 295 in the first innings. Thus, the stylish right-hander was able to get himself on the honour’s board.

More importantly, Rahane fine knock had helped India in winning that match by 95 runs.

Ajinkya Rahane had also led Rajasthan Royals in the recently concluded IPL. In fact, the inaugural champions were able to qualify for the playoff stages under the leadership of Rahane.

Furthermore, Rahane will also lead India in the upcoming Test match against Afghanistan. India will square off with the Afghan team from June 14 in Bengaluru.

Moreover, there is little doubt that Ajinkya Rahane is one of India’s most consistent batsman in the foreign conditions. The right-hander has been able to score consistent runs in the unfamiliar conditions.

Consequently, Rahane will like to continue with his good form in the English conditions. The India vice-captain has shown a good technique while playing in the overseas conditions. Thus, he would be tested once again.
