Former India skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni has returned from England after the culmination of limited-overs series and is currently enjoying -some off-time with his friends and family. Meanwhile, a recent TV series directed by Anurag Kashyap, Sacred Games has taken the Indian viewers by surprise. Since its release, people are gushing about it and Dhoni is one of them. He recently met one of the actresses from the film Rajashri Deshpande. Deshpande plays the role of a wife of the lead character, Ganesh Gaitonde.
This is one of a kind and probably the best series so far in India history.
On his recent away tour, Dhoni didn’t have a good outing as he failed to score runs quickly in the last two games in the United Kingdom (UK). As a result, India lost the three-match One-day International series 2-1, even after going 1-0 up.
In the second ODI, MS Dhoni came at a crucial time after India lost some early wickets. Although he played a patient knock of 37 runs from 59 balls but couldn’t match with asking rate.
So, it was a similar story in the third ODI as India fell short in both the games.
Following the ODI series, Dhoni attracted a lot of criticism. Many were of the view that he might retire from International cricket after he asked for the match ball after the third ODI despite India losing the game.
However, skipper Virat Kohli and coach Ravi Shastri have backed the wicket-keeper batsman. Dhoni will play a key role in the upcoming World Cup with all the experiences behind his back.
