The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup is being played in Australia. Australia and India teams look the possible title contenders.

However, many veterans are now busy predicting the winner of this tournament. After Australia’s Brett Lee, now former England captain, Michael Vaughan has also predicted the winner of the tournament.

The first game of the tournament was played between India and Australia. India clinched the game by 17 runs. Poonam Yadav was adjudged the Man of the Match for her game-changing spell of four wickets giving away 19 runs.

Michael Vaughan Predicts The Winner

Former English captain, Michael Vaughan, while predicting the winner of the tournament, has declared that Australia will win it.

Vaughan tweeted, “Aussies to Win the #T20WorldCup after that win me thinks … !! @FoxCricket !!”

The Indian team, captained by Harmanpreet Kaur, is playing their second match against Bangladesh women’s team today. Bangladesh have won the toss and decided to bowl first.

The Indian women’s team didn’t have a good start.

However, Shafali Verma’s quickfire 17-ball 39 and Jemimah Rodrigues 37-34 helped India to post 142 for six.

For Bangladesh women’s team, Salma Khatun and Panna Gosh managed to bag two wickets each.

It will be exciting to see who comes out on top when the game comes to a close.
