The former India captain, MS Dhoni, along with his family had arrived at the ‘Queen of Hills’ Shimla for a five-day visit.

He left for Wild Flower Hall in Charabara, which is around 15 kilometres away from the capital of Himachal Pradesh. Earlier, MS Dhoni came via chartered plane that land in at Jubbarhatti airport, Shimla.

MS Dhoni would stay along with his family in Shimla till 31 August. The cricketer is likely to take part in an advertisement shoot for a private company.

MS Dhoni came back to the Shimla after 14 years. Earlier, he paid a visit to this city in 2004 following his participation in a cricket tournament. The tourney took place in Rohroo area of the district.

The state government of Shimla declared the former skipper as its “State Guest.”

Considering MSD’s massive fan following, all the necessary arrangements have been put under microscopic level.

Although nothing has been put open as per the sources, MS Dhoni will participate for an ad shoot. The ad shoot will take place at historic Ridge ground in Shimla on Tuesday morning.

According to the reports, the state police of Himachal Pradesh is planning to request him to take part in the campaign against the menace of drugs. The police are preparing to ask the cricketer to make a video message for them urging his fans not to fell the prey of the threat.

It would not be the first time that any high profile personality will urge the people to end the drug menace.
