When we look back several years from here on, the 11th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) would hold a special place in the hearts of MS Dhoni and his fans in particular.

Much had been talked about Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s hitting abilities at the twilight of his career. While many claimed that Dhoni consumed many balls before teeing off, some assumed that the prime of captain cool is a by-gone phenomenon.

However, this season, Dhoni, brought back time by playing some of his vintage knocks to save his best for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on their comeback trail.

The Jharkhand-born professional has been hitting the ball right from the word go, to delight one and all with some of the shots he has played in the series.

Moreover, MSD is winning hearts this season both on and off the field as he has spent some quality time with the hardworking ground staff at Chepauk and Pune, on International Labours’ Day.

According to the Twitter handle of Super Kings which revealed by posting few pictures of Thala with the men who work hard behind the scenes, curating pitch and looking after the outfields.
