With no action going around at the moment due to the coronavirus pandemic, a number of cricketers have increased their activities on social media. It has not only helped them to stay busy but to also keep their fans entertained. In the last few weeks, the likes of Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah and several others did live sessions on Instagram.
However, former India skipper MS Dhoni, who loves to maintain a very low profile on social media, is yet to do any live session on social media. And on Sunday, his wife Sakshi Dhoni revealed what is he up to and how he is spending his days during the lockdown.
In an Instagram chat on Chennai Super Kings’ official page, Sakshi revealed that Dhoni has been playing PUBG all day during the lockdown period. For the uninitiated, Dhoni is a huge fan of video games, specifically PUBG. Even his teammates have often talked about Dhoni’s obsession with PUBG.
“He has got a thinking brain, It does not rest. When he plays video games, it helps him divert his mind, which is a good thing. Now a days PUBG has encroached my bed. Mahi is sleep talking about PUBG these days,” Sakshi told Rupha Ramani during the live video session.
When asked what has MS Dhoni been doing during the time when the IPL has been put on hold and there is not other cricketing activity going on, she said that the World Cup-winning captain has been assembling bikes.
“Mahi has 9 bikes. He opened them up, he bought parts and assembled them. He was assembling a bike and fully assembled it and he forgot to put one part and the next day he had to open the bike and he had do it all over again,” Sakshi said.
MS Dhoni has not played any competitive game since the World Cup ended in July last year. He was about to make his much-awaited return to action through the IPL before the league was suspended due to the pandemic.
