Watch: MS Dhoni Signs Contract For Chennai Super Kings

The upcoming season of the Indian Premier League will see the much-awaited reunion of MS Dhoni and Chennai Super Kings – an association that came to an abrupt end in 2015 after the franchise was served a two-year suspension on corruption charges.

Before the suspension, Dhoni had enjoyed a very successful spell with the Chennai-based outfit. The former India captain led Chennai Super Kings for eight very successful years, helping the franchise win two IPL titles as well as two now-scrapped T20 Champions League titles.

That the Super Kings would retain their talismanic skipper was very much on the cards, and the confirmation came on Thursday (January 4) when the franchise along with other teams announced the names of their retained players. The two-time IPL champions have also retained Suresh Raina and all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja.

Ever since the news was confirmed, the fans have gone berserk, expressing their excitement to see Dhoni in the famous yellow jersey again. Well, the latest video that is doing the rounds on the internet is set to take the excitement to another level as it shows the World Cup-winning skipper putting pen to the contract papers.
