Narendra Modi Accepts Fitness Challenge Given by Virat Kohli

India Prime Minister Narendra Modi has finally responded to Team India skipper Virat Kohli’s fitness challenge. Accepting his challenge, Modi shared a video. He is seen undertaking yoga and another day to day exercises. In a series of tweets, Modi urged each and every India to designate some time of the day for fitness. It is indeed one of the most important things for every individual.

“Here are moments from my morning exercises. Apart from Yoga, I walk on a track inspired by the Panchtatvas or 5 elements of nature – Prithvi, Jal, Agni, Vayu, Aakash. This is extremely refreshing and rejuvenating. I also practice breathing exercises.

#HumFitTohIndiaFit,” he wrote. Modi further advised all his fellow countrymen to at least dedicate some part of the time of the day to fitness. He urged them to practice any set of exercises which they are comfortable with. It will make them realise what difference fitness brings to one’s life.

“Practice any set of exercises you are comfortable with and you will see the positive difference it will make in your life!” Mr Modi also nominated Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy and Table Tennis player Manika Batra to take up the challenge and share their personal fitness videos.

“I am delighted to nominate the following for the #FitnessChallenge: Karnataka’s CM Shri @hd_kumaraswamy. India’s pride and among the highest medal winners for India in the 2018 CWG, @manikabatra_TT. The entire fraternity of brave IPS officers, especially those above 40,” he wrote on his twitter handle.

Sports Minister’s challenge to his citizens

The Indian Union Sports Minister Rajyavardhan Rathore had hurled the challenge towards his countrymen. It was named #HumFitTohIndiaFit campaign where he urged the Indians to make their own fitness video and shared it on social media handles. It was on May 23 that the Indian skipper shared his fitness video and challenged Prime Minister Narendra Modi, former skipper MS Dhoni and his wife Anushka Sharma to share their fitness videos.
